On Sunday 27th October, we bought back our Antiques and Collectibles Fair and what a fantastic day we had! The preparations began on the Friday evening when a team of our wonderful volunteers met Zoe and Chloe at Willingdon School to set up the hall ready for Sunday. It was a very busy evening involving moving many tables and chairs, putting up signs and setting up the awareness stall.
On the Sunday, Zoe, Chloe and the team arrived at Willingdon School just after 6am ready to greet all of the stall holders as they unloaded and set up their tables. The morning set-up flew by and before we knew it the public were arriving at 9am to look at all of the wonderful antiques and collectibles on offer.
We were also very lucky to be joined by Eastbourne Auction rooms on the day who provided a valuation service, which saw a variety of interesting collections, jewellery and medals. We considered the return of our Antiques Fair to be a great success and will be announcing the final total raised soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
We would like to say a huge thank you to Willingdon School for giving us use of their hall and the Friends of Willingdon School for providing delicious refreshments throughout the day. As well as a massive thank you to all of our truly amazing volunteers, stall holders and anyone who visited the fair, we could not have done it without you! ? ?❤️
