Captain's Charity Bowls Tournament

On Saturday 14th March, the Eastbourne and District Indoor Bowls Club held a fantastic Captain's Charity Bowls Tournament where members of the club competed against one another to raise money for Children with Cancer Fund.

On the day, we held a games stall which was made up of our popular teddy tombola and 'Play Your Cards Right' where players could win one of our pens, wristbands or a book depending on how far done the board they managed to reach! The bowls club also held a wonderful raffle to raise some extra funds along with the Eastbourne Photographic Society who were selling some beautiful prints.

At the end of the day, Sylvia, one of our fundraising trustees was delighted to help the Captain present the winners with their medals and trophies. It was a wonderful day and we will be announcing the final total soon so keep an eye on our social media and website!
