On Thursday 15th August, we took some of our families to the fantastic Llama Park in Uckfield which proved to be an amazing day for all involved!
The day began with a cup of coffee in the Llama Park cafe where all the families were greeted by Chris, Chloe & Amy who were hosting the event and given the opportunity to get to know one another. Once the families had finished their drinks, they went on through to the outdoor area to see the animals and play in the children's park. Not only were there llamas at the park, there were all sorts of fascinating animals including reindeer, peacocks, pigs, sheep and goats which kept the children thoroughly entertained!
Bobby, the owner of the park, kindly organised a llama feeding session for our families where they fed the llamas some freshly cut carrots and even got to stroke and walk them. Some of our children got up close and personal with the llamas by feeding them the carrots from their mouth! The children absolutely loved the feeding session and there were smiles on everyone's faces!
Later on in the afternoon, our families all met in the outdoor seating area where they enjoyed a delicious picnic together, it was great to see the children having such a wonderful time and the families bonding with one another.
