Fizz on Foot limited working with children with cancer fund

Ian Shearer is the managing director of Fizz on Foot Limited, below he explains why he chose to support Children with Cancer Fund, as well as the impact that the companies fundraising has had on the charity.

“As a business, we get approached all the time to make donations or help support local charities and it is always a difficult decision because you cannot support all of them, especially when you are a small family business. Therefore, we made a clear decision to support one charity for two years and then give another charity a chance. I met Chris Downton at Eastbourne & District Chamber of Commerce and it was very plain to see how hard the CWCF team work to give support to all the families with children that had cancer. The team is totally devoted to their job and that was what made us decide to support CWCF.

We now support the charity with raffles at all of our events and soon I am doing a sponsored slim, which will raise several hundred pounds. It is very satisfying when you make a donation to this charity, as it is very visible to see the effect it immediately has for parents. Also being a small and local charity it is even more beneficial to give our support.”

Fizz on Foot have raised huge amounts for CWCF through their raffles, and these funds are a crucial contribution to the families that are supported by CWCF, thank you.
