Fundraising at Follers Manor

On 10th August 2019, we were lucky enough to be invited back to Follers Manor in Alfriston, by the wonderful owners Anne and Geoff to help run their 'Open Garden' for a day in aid of Children with Cancer Fund. Joined by an amazing group of volunteers we were able to serve guests a variety of delicious homemade cakes, teas and coffees whilst keeping up with the washing up, manning the car park and clearing the tables! Despite the windy weather, everyone had a great day and enjoyed taking in the sights of the stunning garden, raising a phenomenal £1,000 for CWCF. Follers Manor also saw the first outing of our very own Doughnut Wall kindly handmade by one of our volunteers, this definitely added an extra special touch to our cake stall!This is a fantastic fundraiser that we have had the pleasure of running for a good number of years now and we would like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who baked cakes and volunteered on the day, as well asa huge thank you to Anne and Geoff for once again letting us back in to their beautiful garden.
