Pizza Making Fun In Lewes

Introduction

What a fantastic morning we had for our very first family event of the year! A group of our children and families made their way to Pizza Express in Lewes ready to create their masterpieces where they were greeted by our lovely volunteers in red.

Getting Our Hands Dirty

The dough was ready and waiting when we arrived, and we couldn’t wait to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in! Under the watchful eye of the expert chefs, we rolled and shaped our dough by hand and then used a variety of toppings to make the pizzas of our choice.

When we had finished making our pizzas and got cleaned up (pizza making can be a messy business!) we sat together as a group to enjoy lunch. The restaurant very kindly served up mouth-watering dough balls and salad while we waited for all the pizzas to be ready. The moment we had all been waiting for arrived when we got the chance to taste our delicious pizzas and there was plenty left to take some home for later.

Our families relished the opportunity this event provided to have some fun, catch up with old friends and make some new ones. They made lasting memories of precious moments spent together as a family.
