Raffle Raises £1,400

On Friday 7th August we launched our online raffle, giving our supporters the chance to purchase raffle tickets to win an array of wonderful prizes which would be drawn a month later on the 4th September.

Our prizes were kindly donated by wonderful local businesses including an afternoon tea from the Coffee Kitchen based in Eastbourne, football training sessions from Pass+Move in Hastings and many more. Many of the prizes were donated to us through the fantastic Battle Chapter of the Business Networking Institute (BNI).

Members from the Battle BNI took part in a 24-Hour Bender involving lots of different online zoom sessions, with the members pledging some fantastic prizes to donate to our charity. This is also where our grand prize originated when Francesco, a hotel owner and BNI member in Italy, visited the online Battle Bender and donated a 2 Night Stay for his beautiful hotel in the heart of Rome.

Last Friday we drew each of the prizes online at random and we are so excited to announce that our raffle raised a total of £1,400. We are over the moon with this total and would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets, spread the word about the raffle and donated the prizes.
