Support from Our Local Community

We are only fourteen days in to 2020 and we have already been shown the most amazing support from our local community.

Last week, Chris was called in to local care home Sunrise Senior Living. The staff here had lots of fun over Christmas raising funds for Children with Cancer Fund and were delighted to present us with a cheque of £251.73 which was a wonderful surprise! A huge thank you to everyone at Sunrise Senior Living for their kind support.

In the same week, Chris was also invited along to Lloyds Bank to receive a cheque for the money they raised in their wonderful Christmas raffle for CWCF. THANK YOU to the Hailsham and Seaford branches of Lloyds bank for kindly holding this raffle for us and to all of the lovely customers who purchased raffle tickets. The money raised from the raffle will go such a long way  ?

On top of this, today we also received a visit from two lovely ladies from the Micheldene WI based presenting us with a cheque of £416.00 which they had also raised from their Christmas Raffle, how amazing! The ladies have kindly chosen for the money they have raised to go towards one of our caravans which give the families we support  some time away from the reality of cancer and the opportunity to spend quality time together.

These are only a few examples of the support we have received so far in 2020, Thank you so much to each of the groups and organisations mentioned above and everyone else who has fundraised for us, we are so grateful for all of your support and what a fantastic way to start of the year!
