CWCF Take Over Freedom Leisure Hailsham!

On Saturday 25th January, we had a group of about 65 people head to Hailsham ready to take over Freedom Leisure. We had open access to the swimming pool, bowling alley and soft play area for the evening so after being greeted by our team in read, our families all eagerly made their way to their first chosen activity.

There was non-stop excitement and fun in the swimming pool as whoops of excitement echoed around. There was even a water slide which many of the children simply couldn’t wait to try out, and judging by the smiles on the faces of those emerging at the bottom it was definitely a favourite activity.

The bowling alley was filled with sounds of laughter, cheers and pins falling all evening. Our families enjoyed some healthy competition as everyone vied to finish at the top of the board. We had some lovely feedback from one of our families: “We had such fun bowling. It was so special to be silly and have fun together I can't remember when we last laughed that much.”

We had an oasis of calm around the lovely lady from Touch of Gentleness who attended the evening free of charge, making a wonderful additional treat for our families. She offered relaxing and peaceful hand massages to any members of our Thank you so much for coming along and allowing time for our families to sit down in a calm environment and talk to someone who wanted to listen.

This was an unforgettable evening for our families, where they had the freedom to do whatever activity they preferred and spend time having fun with other families. This was “An amazing fun way to bring families and children of all ages together”.
