Frankie was diagnosed with Rhabdo Myo Sarcoma in July 2016 at two years old. After nine rounds of chemotherapy, 32 doses of proton radio therapy in Oklahoma City USA, our brave Frank under went 45 plus GA’s for procedures, MRI scans, and 32 of the GA’s were for proton therapy. Today he’s doing great on a daily growth hormone and will be checked yearly by the late affects team at The Royal Marsden. Frankie also lost the sight in his right eye from the tumour snapping his optic nerve. He had a lens replacement in the left eye and is under the Epsom general hospital for eye check ups. We are eternally grateful to the NHS for saving our boy ??. Frankie will turn eight years old this year, we are so very very lucky .

We are so thankful to CWCF for all the wishes, days out, treats and an amazing trip to the isle of Wight which we will never forget, you guys made very dark days sunny for us all especially Frankie and his sister Layla xx”

Frankie’s last ever oncology appointment was on the second of August 2021 which is brilliant news for him and his family, we wish him all the best going forwards!
